The Comprehensive Seismic Hazard Assessment Department (CSHAD) of the Territorial Seismic
Protection Service SNCO carries out:
- Monitoring of seismic hazard and risk.
- Round-the-clock operational duty.
- Acquisition, analysis, and database enhancement of geophysical and geochemical data from
observatories.
Statistical study of seismic anomaly parameters based on individual parameters.Current
seismic hazard assessment.
- Analytical measurement of water samples obtained from geochemical observatories.
- Analysis of the current seismic regime.
- Database enhancement on seismic risk components of the RA territory and settlements, seismic
risk assessment, and mapping.
- Participation in international conferences, symposia, and training courses.
- Other functions defined by the charter of the "Regional Survey for Seismic Protection".
- Other functions defined by the RA Law "On Seismic Protection."
