A working discussion was held under the leadership of Sos Margaryan, Director of the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The heads of the departments summarized the work done in the previous quarter.

Guidelines on earthquake protection rules have been developed for public transport drivers and passengers during this period, in cooperation with the Yerevan Municipality. They are planned to be posted on all vehicles in the transport fleet soon. Steps are being taken to make the guidelines available on intercity transportation as well.

In the near future, it is planned to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the Regional Survey for Seismic Protection and the Italian National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics (OGS), which has a seismological research center.

Օne of the important achievements of the previous quarter was the inclusion of Armenian seismic stations in the official platform of the International Federation of Digital Seismograph Networks (FDSN).
